4 Eyelash Extension Myths That Need to be Left behind

Eyelash extension is a process which has been around the block for quite some time now. Still, several women seem to be very skeptic about getting them done because they have lots of doubts about it.
In this post, we are going to cover exactly what those doubts are and help you see the truth!

Myth#1: Eyelash Extensions Hurt:

Eyelash extension does not hurt at all.
This myth is usually at the top of the list of those women who confuse the pain with the anxiety caused by having tweezers placed very close to their eyes! It’s not the same thing, ladies. Yes, the tweezers will be placed very close to your eyes and yes that might make some women anxious, but it will make no woman experience any sort of pain whatsoever.

Myth#2: Natural Lashes Will Stop Growing/Become Thinner

Getting eyelash extensions will not prevent your natural lashes from growing and it will also not make them any thinner than what they already are. Obviously, when you have the extensions on, your lashes will seem fuller and when you remove them, they will return back to their original feel. So if your natural lashes were thin even before you got extensions, they will be thin after you remove the extensions.

Myth#3: Natural Lashes Will Fall Out

Let’s get this straight: your lashes fall out with or without lash extensions so you should not even be remotely worried about them! Just like you naturally shed hair off of your head, so do your natural lashes fall out every 4 to 6 weeks. It is a natural process and has absolutely nothing to do with eyelash extensions.

Myth#4: One Session Only

While it is entirely up to you as to how many eyelash extensions you wish to have for how long, it goes without saying that if you want to maintain the fuller lash look, you need to have more than just one session.

One eyelash extension session is only going to last you that long. Ultimately, your natural lashes will grow and the false ones will slide off the lash line.
