Fill In Those Brows: Pencil, Powder or Pomade?

 We like to think that grooming your eyebrows has an effect similar to wearing a gorgeous pair of sunglasses! They can literally transform your face.

The good part is that now we have so many awesome eyebrow grooming products and tools at our disposal that getting a perfectly arched set of brows is accessible to almost everybody! The confusion only begins when you cannot decide which product would be most suited for your eyebrows and the look that you want to give them.

In this post, we break down the 3 most common products used for filling in your brows.

For Beginners: Eyebrow Pencils:

If this is your first time trying to fill in your eyebrows, we suggest using an eyebrow pencil. While you will eventually learn how to use eyebrow gel and powder too to get those “on fleek” brows, eyebrow pencils are great for beginners.

The reason for this is that it is easier to trace your brow and fill them in with pencils than it is with anything else!

For Natural, Softer Looking Brows:

Forget what level of eyebrow filling you may be at, what is the look you are going for? If it is that crisp and clean and lined to perfection brows, an eyebrow pencil and/or gel may be of better use. However, if you want to go for a more subtle, natural look then you should opt for eyebrow powders!

Eyebrows, when filled with eyebrow powder, have a softer look about them.

For Pros: Pomades:

Pomades is another fantastic product of getting that perfectly groomed eyebrow look that you desire. They are a little trickier to manage than eyebrow pencils since they are cream based, so that is the only thing you have to look out for.

The bottom line of all these 3 products is that they can help you get the brows of your dreams, you just have to pay attention to the look you are going for and which product you personally feel most comfortable using!
